The City of Glendale is located just minutes north of downtown Milwaukee off of Interstate-43 and provides convenient access to four surrounding villages, as well as Miller Park, Amtrak and Greyhound stations, and General Mitchell International Airport. In addition to the many unique cultural offerings you will find throughout the city, Glendale is also home to outstanding educational institutions from the elementary to high school and university levels. Glendale serves the Glendale-River Hills and Maple Dale-Indian Hill school districts, including Nicolet High SchoolCardinal Stritch, the state’s second largest independent university, hosts its main campus in Glendale. Bayshore Town Center is also home to Bryant & Stratton College’s newest campus.

Community Events

Glendale hosts many annual events that attract both city residents and visitors from all over the state and even country. During the summer, enjoy the popular Fourth of July Celebration at Kletzsch Park or sample beer during the Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival, a premier beer and food pairing event that features over 60 Wisconsin breweries and restaurants. As home of Sprecher Brewery, Glendale also hosts Root Beer Bash, an annual celebration of all things root beer. Come fall, Glendale is known for one of the best Oktoberfest celebrations in Wisconsin.
